Linda Moss-Mines relates the story of the east Tennessee tent graves, their history & locations- linking them to the Arkansas Ozarks.  She also talks about some theories of “Why?” – weaving in stories of body snatchers, grave robbers, animal depredations, too many rocks, medical research or outright theft!  Maybe some of this could explain why some of our ancestors don’t have tombstones?  A nice treat for Halloween.
