Mary Jane Bennett Baxley is a native Arkansan who grew up in Little Rock.  Retired from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, she holds an M.A. degree in Public History.  Her passion for genealogy began at a young age, listening to her father and grandfather retell colorful tales of her pioneering family.  She is currently the 1^st Vice President of the Arkansas Genealogical Society, and a former President of Heritage Seekers Genealogy Club.  Mary Jane currently hosts the monthly Kitchen Roundtable Talks for the Arkansas Genealogical Society.
