DESCRIPTION:WHAT Exactly IS a Manuscript Collection?\nAnd How do You Create One?  \nPresented by Brian Robertson\, Butler Center \nDo you ever wonder how to make your records a more manageable? Or consider “what” will be the fate of them? \nBrian Robertson will discuss what a manuscript collection is\, how they are usually created\, and what you can do with them. He will also talk about how archives and libraries make them available to researchers. \nBrian Robertson is the Senior Archivist and Manager of the Research Services Division at the Butler Center for Arkansas Studies at the Central Arkansas Library System. He has been at the Center since 1999. He has a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Central Arkansas and a master’s degree in public history from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Robertson is the author or editor of several books and articles on Arkansas history.
