She often lectures on both subjects at conferences\, society events\, and colleges. She also offers in-person/online courses and one-on-one consultations. \nGarner is an active member of the Association of Professional Genealogists and assists numerous organizations in various volunteer and leadership capacities. Garner’s current projects regard reenacting and rediscovering forgotten communities and cemetery preservation for a greater understanding of people\, places\, and cultural heritage.
