Initially developed by Israel Merrick Moore\, the town was incorporated in 1851. Today\, the historic core is dominated by the White County Courthouse\, which was completed in 1871\, and includes north and south wings added in 1912. Join us as we explore the historic commercial core of downtown Searcy in cooperation with Main Street Searcy.
